Looking for off-campus housing? Come check out the annual Housing Fair! Finding off-campus housing can be a daunting and tedious task that comes with a lot of information that can jumble together. Coming to the Housing Fair can help you figure out what place fits best with your values and help relieve some of the unknown about finding housing.
This year’s housing fair will take place on Wednesday, February 7th from 9 am to 4 pm in the Never No Summer and North Ballrooms in the Lory Student Center. At this event, an average of 2,000 people come together to get information about their housing options and how to successfully live off campus. Property management companies, landlords, realtors, Colorado State University offices, and other community resources will all be there to give you the information you need.
In preparation for the housing fair, it is important to consider what is most important to you, such as the type of housing, your budget, what kind of roommates you would like, and knowing the requirements of your lease before you sign. While the housing fair is a one stop shop for your housing needs, knowing what you are looking for in housing can be extremely helpful to narrow down your options and make your search less overwhelming. It will also help to make sure you will have a comfortable living environment.
If you cannot make it to the housing fair or are looking for more resources, visit our website at ocl.colostate.edu and look under our “Housing” tab for things such as Rental Search, Roommate Meet and Match events, short-term housing, apartment and property complex lists, and more. We look forward to seeing you at the annual Housing Fair!
